Frances E. Poehler

Frances E. Poehler, 95, of Nashua, NH died Monday Feb. 20, 2023 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua. Frances (or Fran) was born Frances Shone to Francis X. Shone and Irma Edna (née Studley) Shone in Woburn, Massachusetts on Jan. 6, 1928, and attended Woburn schools.

Fran was an avid reader and cruciverbalist who enjoyed word puzzles in her free time. She was a Justice of the Peace and Notary Public bringing joy to many by officiating numerous wedding ceremonies. Fran was also an accomplished receptionist, working with Sanders Associates until retirement. After which, Fran worked with The American Red Cross in Nashua, NH for over ten years.

Fran will long be remembered as a loving mother to her seven children, as well as a devoted grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is predeceased by her first husband and father to her seven children, Frank M. DeMambro in 1968.

Her family includes her children, Frances Marotto husband Ralph, Gene DeMambro wife Dana, David DeMambro, Linda Wickwire, Sandra DeMambro, Cheryl Collazo husband Ivan, and Helena DeMambro husband David. Fran’s grandchildren, Linda, Marie, Angelo, Dee, Frank, Gina, Gino, Wendy W., Michelle, Tracy, Billie-Jean, Jason, Justin, Jamie, Tina, David, Stacy, Rachel, Ivana, Michael, Wendy D., Autumn and Cheyenne as well as many beautiful great-grandchildren.
