Lucier, Paul K. Jr.
Paul K. Lucier Jr., 83, of Nashua passed away at Tufts Medical Center in Boston on February 1, 2023 after a long, hard-fought battle with several medical issues.
Paul was born in Nashua on April 27, 1939 to Lucille (Chartier) and Paul Lucier Sr. Following his graduation from Nashua High School in 1955, he went on to serve in the US Navy as a Corpsman. After being honorably discharged in 1960, Paul returned to Nashua and began a 37-year career as a Pressman for the Nashua Telegraph, retiring in 2001. He was also a member of the Graphic Communications International Union.
In 1962, Paul met Patricia, his wife of 58 years, at Caron’s Restaurant. Together they raised three daughters; Laurel, Mary, and Jennifer.
In past years, Paul was an Assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 255 from St. Louis de Gonzague Church. He also served on the Parish Council at St. Louis de Gonzague. An avid gardener, Paul was happiest, especially during his illness, when he was outside working in his vegetable garden.
In addition to his wife Patricia and daughters Laurel (Peter) Trebotte, Mary (Michael) Popovich, and Jennifer Cummings, Paul is survived by his brother Robert Lucier (Pat), sister Anne Marie (Tim) Landry, and sister-in-law/brother-in-law Claire and Robert Kennedy.
Affectionately known as “Bubba,” Paul also leaves behind several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sr. Pauline Lucier, CSC. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared by visiting www.ANCTIL-ROCHETTE.com.
