Madeleine M. Bathalon

Madeleine M. Bathalon, 90, a lifelong resident of Nashua, died peacefully at Premier Rehab and Healthcare on Thursday, January 19, 2023.

Madeleine was born in Nashua on September 16, 1932, and was the daughter of the late Leo and Geraldine (Lavigne) Bathalon. She received her education in Nashua graduating from St. Louis de Gonzague high school in 1951.

She was employed in the accounting department at NFS & Energynorth for 25 years until her retirement.

In her free time, she was a member of the American – Canadian Genealogical Society of Manchester, AARP National and Nashua Area Chapter 662, as well as the Nashua Senior Activity Center. She enjoyed traveling, needlepoint, sewing, and researching and learning about her family’s Genealogical history.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Deborah Olszta, Denise Dube, Judith Burelle, David Clifford, and Gary Bathalon; as well as grandnieces and grandnephews; and her two godsons, Eric Bernard and Craig Ciardelli.

Madeleine was predeceased by her brother Albert Bathalon in 1979.

At Madeleine’s request interment will be held privately. A memorial mass will be held in her name at St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis Street, Nashua.
