Genevieve Kruger
Genevieve Kruger, 79, of Greenville, New Hampshire died on December 30, 2022, following a lengthy illness.
Genevieve was born in Lowell, Massachusetts and was raised in Carlisle. Her parents, the late Frank E. and Lillian G. (Rich) Hannaford owned a large chicken farm on Prospect St. where she grew up learning many skills.
She was a member of the Class of 1963 at Concord-Carlisle High School and was a member of Carlisle Congregational Church.
She enjoyed sewing, knitting, needlepoint and gardening. She would make her own clothing and made clothing for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Genevieve made beautiful and elaborate wedding gowns for special family members. Her home was filled with homemade treasures and plants that she tenderly cared for.
Genevieve had lived in Greenville, New Hampshire for the past 16 years so she would be close to her family. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She leaves behind three loving children, David Kruger and his wife Christine of Amherst, NH, Keith Kruger and his fiancée Patty Clayton of Fitchburg and Karen Kruger and her husband Robert Duncan of Milford, NH, her siblings, Julie and Dana Hannaford of Carlisle, five grandchildren, Sabrina Grissett, Jonathan Kruger, Joseph Brodeur, and Marcus and Ana Kruger, two great grandchildren, Genevieve Kruger and Avery Grissett and two nieces.
She was predeceased by her brother, Frank Kenneth Hannaford this past year.
Private services were held at the Bedford Funeral Home on January 8, 2023. Burial was in Greenville, NH
