Theodore W. Meedzan

MILFORD – Theodore W. Meedzan, 89, longtime resident of Milford, NH, died on January 3, 2023 at Fairview Senior Living, Hudson, NH.

He was born in Lynn, Massachusetts on June 9, 1933, the son of John and Sophie (Cudnik) Meedzan. Theodore was raised and educated in Lynn, Massachusetts.

He had been employed as a mechanic at Jack’s Garage, Lynn, MA during his younger years. He worked at Kollsman Instrument.

Mr. Meedzan was a US Air Force veteran and retired as a Master Sergeant after 34 years of service.

He served as an assistant scout leader to the Boy Scout Troop #720, Nashua, NH and donated much of his time to the SHARE Center, Milford, NH. He was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford, NH. Theodore was an avid collector of coins and baseball cards, and also enjoyed operating ham radios.

He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara (Rancourt) Meedzan, who died in 2012, and his son, Ted Meedzan.

Theodore is survived by his two daughters and son-in-law, Marcia and David Page of Lowell, MA, Diane L. Martin of Manchester, NH, a son and daughter-in-law Leo and Carol Meedzan of New Ipswich, NH; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; two siblings.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 10th at 11:00am in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford.
