Constance Ida ‘Connie’ (Connolly) Gagnon

Constance Ida “Connie” (Connolly) Gagnon, 88, died peacefully at Premier Healthcare in Nashua on Friday, December 30, 2022. She is the beloved wife of Ernest Gagnon with whom she shared 69 years of marriage.

Connie was born in Nashua on April 8, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Patrick J. and Margaret Connolly. She received her education in the Nashua School System and was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy.

For many years, she was employed for Local Shoe Co. and International Shoe Company and later in life she worked as an assembler for Teradyne until her retirement.

In her free time, she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching pro golf and Lifetime movies. She also loved to travel with her sisters and relax with a romance novel. However, her most cherished time was spent wit her loving family.

In addition to her husband, Ernest, she is survived by her five children, Carol Fairbanks and her husband Charlie of Springfield, VT, Stephen Gagnon and his significant other Lisa Burnelle of Nashua, Ernest Gagnon Jr. and his wife Jodi of Weare, NH, Jason Gagnon and his wife Michelle of Greenville, NH and Lisa Gagnon and her significant other Michael Latourneau of Nashua; her four grandchildren, Michelle Gagnon Way, Kristen Hibbard and her husband Jacob, Andrew Gagnon and Sarah Gagnon. She is also survived by her two great-grandchildren; her two sisters, Patricia Paradise and Margerie Bazin as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Connie’s visitation on Saturday January 7, 2023 from 9 AM until 10:30 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM in the church. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
