June G. Marshall
June G. Marshall, 85, of Nashua, NH passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, December 22nd, 2022 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua following a brief period of declining health.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 26th, 1937 to the late Thomas and Elfrid (Mjolsnes) Gard. She was raised in Pine Bush, NY.
June studied Music Education at Fredonia State University in New York then started her career with KLM Airlines in New York City, before marrying her husband Charles in 1963 and moving her young family to Amherst, NH. June then completed a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of New Hampshire and worked for Citizens Bank for many years as a Trust Administrator before her retirement in 2009. Following the raising of her family in Amherst, June later became a longtime resident of Merrimack, NH, and ultimately resided in Nashua for the last few years, where she enjoyed many new friendships.
June most enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren, particularly on their yearly summer visits to Peaks Island, ME.
June will be forever loved and remembered by her husband of 59 years, Charles Marshall; two sons, Thomas Marshall and his wife Laura of Stow MA, and Gregory Marshall and his wife Wende of Londonderry NH; four grandchildren, Katherine and Nathaniel Marshall of Londonderry and Zachary and Ryan Marshall of Stow; her sister, Eleanor Williams with nieces Kris Trojan and Karen Williams; and brother in law Ralph Marshall with nephew Ralph Marshall Jr. and niece Suzzanne Marshall. She was pre-deceased by a son, Erik Marshall, in 1993.
Visitation hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack NH on Wednesday, December 28th from 4 – 6 PM. All are welcome to stay for some words of remembrance by friends and family at 6 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in June’s memory can be made to the U.S. Humane Society.
