Rita Briand

Rita Briand, 71, of Litchfield, NH, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022 following a brief illness.

She was born in Nashua, NH, daughter of Gerard and Rachel Bosse of Nashua.

Rita grew up enjoying being a tomboy building tree houses, playing baseball, and king of the hill. She met the love of her life at the age of 14 and was married at 18 years of age to her best friend Gene. They celebrated 53 years of marriage on June 21st 2022. She enjoyed visiting and traveling to the white mountains and trips to Foxwoods. Rita was employed through Sanders Electronics in Nashua, Benchmark Electronics in Hudson, and BAE in Nashua where she retired.

Rita is survived by her loving family, including her husband Gene Briand of Litchfield NH, a son Jason Briand and sole grandson Kobe Briand of Hebron NH, a sister Maryann Berkins and her husband Ken of Nashua, a sister Sylvia Adams of Wilmington MA, a brother Robert Bosse and wife Jaimee of NH, a sister Celeste Martin and her husband Roland of Londonderry, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Rita was predeceased by a sister Diane Briand of Nashua, and a brother Renee Bosse of Nashua.
