Marvin Weckwerth

Marvin Weckwerth passed away peacefully on Friday December 16th, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Brenham, Texas on June 25th, 1941 to Erwin and Erna Weckwerth (née Zwahr). He was baptized at Greenvine Lutheran Church. He proudly served in the US Army from 1960 to 1963. Marvin is survived by his children Timothy and Jill Weckwerth, Michele and Greg Bricker, Heidi and Michael Theriault, Holly and John Fahey, but predeceased by their mother Carolann Niquette. He is also survived by his wife Kathleen Sue Weckwerth and his step children Julie West and husband Andrew Conn and Joseph and Margaret West. He is further survived by his sisters Mildred Zbranek, Marie Loewe, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. He is also predeceased by his parents and brother Henry (Sonny) Neumann Jr. Marvin was a great cook who loved his Texas BBQ and a great story teller. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Marvin will be interred at Danville National Cemetery in Danville, VA at a later date.
