Louise Danielle Simard

Louise Danielle Simard, 65, of Salem and Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully Friday, December 9, 2022 at Pleasant Valley Nursing Center surrounded by her loving family.

Louise was born on March 2, 1957 in Nashua and was the beloved daughter of the late Leo D. and Lorraine (Isabelle) Simard. She attended local schools.

She enjoyed arts and crafts and long phone calls with family and friends. She found pleasure in just observing the wildlife that surrounded her Salem home. Her heart so large that even the mice that sometimes invaded her home were given a gentle escort out.

Louise is survived by her son, Kenneth M. Simard of Kansas City, Missouri; her siblings, Claude R. Simard and his wife Diana of Merrimack, Laurie Thibeault of Brookline, Leo D. Simard Jr. and his wife Susan of Litchfield, and Lyle R. Simard and his wife Danielle of Nashua; along with many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her best friend, Nancy Woodward of Salem and two feline companions Lincoln and Shelby.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her foster brother, Robert Lambert and brother-in-law, Larry Thibeault Sr.

Relatives and friends are invited to Louise’s Funeral Mass on WEDNESDAY, December 21st at 11 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Her interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Louise’s name to Feline Friends, P.O. Box 2452,Salem, NH 03079.
