Ann Marie Martin

Ann Marie Martin, 94, passed away at The Crestwood Center from failing health. Born April, 28, 1928 in Petersburg, NY daughter of Frank Prezi and Caroline (Crandall) Prezi, she spent her childhood in the Troy, NY and Williamstown, Ma area working in an office as part of her studies until graduating from Williamstown High School at 16. She worked as a payroll clerk at a large paper manufacturer in nearby North Adams and later transferred to the company headquarters in New York City where she made life long friends and enjoyed the amenities of the Big Apple. On vacation at Hampton Beach she met her husband, Normand A. Martin (1928-’92) son of Cyrille and Rose Martin of Hampton, NH. Residing in Nashua they had two children; Steven Andrew Martin of Nashua and Sharon Ann (Martin) Densmore of Milford. In between being a stay at home mom she held many office positions at Improved Machinery Corp, NE Bobbin and Shuttle, Chalet Suisse, Chedees Donuts, Goyette Cote & Duval MD and Whitney Screw Corporation. Once retired she volunteered for 20 years at the Nashua Senior Center in the membership office. She was an avid reader, enjoyed trips to the beach and playing the slots at Foxwoods and in Atlantic City. Aside from her two children she is survived by her extended family Ed Densmore, Natasha (Densmore) Brown both of Milford, Ryan Densmore of Amherst and Zachary Densmore of Lynebrough. Her love of family and kindness toward others will be forever missed.
