Rita G. Adams

Rita G. Adams, 103, of Nashua, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 while at Premier Rehab and Healthcare. Born on October 28, 1919 in Nashua, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Laura (LaBrie) Houle.

Rita grew up in Nashua and was a graduate of Nashua High School. She met and married George Adams after his time in the service during WWII, and had two wonderful sons. She loved spending time with her family, teaching her son Gary how to cook, and learning to paint in oils with her son Dennis. She was known for her great sense of humor, love for art, and her beautiful voice when she sang.

She is survived by her sons Dennis Adams and his wife Samantha, and Gary Adams; granddaughter Christina Loukides (Adams) and her husband Jeremy Loukides; great-grandchildren George Loukides and Hope Loukides. She is predeceased by her husband of 70 years George Adams; sister Camille Houle; and brother Lionel Houle.

A visitation will be held from 9am to 11:30 am on Wednesday, November 16 at Zis-Sweeney & St. Laurent Funeral Home located at 26 Kinsley St, Nashua NH. A service will begin at 11:30am at the funeral home with burial to immediately follow at Woodlawn Cemetery located at 101 Kinsley St, Nashua NH.
