Claire Ann (Morrisette) Marquis

Claire Ann (Morrisette) Marquis, 89, died peacefully on October 27, 2022 in Brooksville, Florida. She was the beloved wife of the late Norbert Marquis who predeceased her on November 27, 2018 after 65 years of marriage.

Claire was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on November 4, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Lionel D. and Shirley E. (Erb) Morrisette. She received her education in the Nashua School System and was a graduate of Nashua High School.

For many years, she was employed as an administrator for Wang Enterprises until her retirement.

In her free time, Claire was proud to be a Eucharistic Minister at the Parish of the Resurrection in Nashua where she was also a faithful Parishioner. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her horses, and traveling to various destinations. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family who she loved dearly.

Claire is survived by her two children Cynthia Marquis of Manchester, NH and Patricia (Marquis) Fribley and her spouse Jerome Fribley, Sr. of Brooksville, FL; her grandchildren, Melissa Smith, Aaron Smith, Nathan Smith, Jerome Fribley, Jr., Jasmine (Fribley) Smith, Alexandria Merchant, April Merchant, Brandon Merchant and 14 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Norbert and her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Robert Morrisette and her sister, Joan (Morrisette) Anastasiou.

Relatives and friends are invited to a short service on Friday, December 9th at 11:30 AM at the Chapel in the New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH. Private interment to follow. Memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.ANCTIL-ROCHETTE.com
