Sun Mui Lai

Sun Mui Lai, 92, of Nashua, NH, passed away on November 3, 2022 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson Disease. Sun was born February 18, 1930 in Canton, China, daughter of the late Cheung Kwai Wong and Ping Yip. She was predeceased by her husband, Shu Yung Lai in 2016.

Sun raised her family including both in laws and eight children. She always devoted herself to everyone in her family and shined in taking care of them. She also showed her children how to help those in need. Her favorite hobby was to prepare large family meals for the holidays, especially Chinese New Year. When all her children where out of the house, she enjoyed playing mahjong with her friends.

Her loving family includes four sons; Samson Lai and his wife Amy of Shanghai, Steve Lai and his wife Alice of Braintree, MA, Lawrence Lai and his wife Rebecca of Nashua, Brian Lai and his wife Iris of Los Angeles, CA, four daughters; Kwai Tai Yeung and her husband Chi Kwong Yeung of Nashua, Sannie Yau and her husband Kwok On Yau of Nashua, Stella Lai of Hong Kong, Winnie Wan and her husband Dennis Wan of Manchester, NH, as well as 20 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 13th from 5:30pm – 7:30pm with a funeral ceremony at 7:30pm in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Homes, 50 Ferry St., Hudson, NH.
