Marie Jeanne Grigas

Marie Jeanne Grigas, 97, a lifelong Nashua resident, widow of Stephen J. Grigas, passed away Saturday morning, November 5, 2022 at her home at Aynsley Place with her loving family by her side.

Born in Nashua on September 28, 1925, she was a daughter of the late John B. and Maria (Bilodeau) Paquette. Marie was educated in Nashua schools and had been employed with Nashua Corporation for over twenty years.

Marie and her husband Steve were married in 1964 and made their home on Donna Street in Nashua. The couple shared 31 years together until his passing on September 2, 1995.

Members of her family include a sister, Olivette Bechard of LaVergne, TN; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. One of eight children, Marie was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Albert, Robert, Lucy, Olivine, Doris and Normand.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 50 West Hollis Street, Nashua, Wednesday, November 9th at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Hudson.
