Carol A. (Heimbach) St. Jacques

Carol A. (Heimbach) St. Jacques, age 81, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away on Oct. 29, 2022, in Nashua after a period of declining health.

She was born in Nashua on June 19, 1941, daughter of the late Harold & Hilda (Gould) Heimbach. She spent her early years in Pennsylvania, and graduated from Pottstown High School.

While in Pennsylvania, she worked as a nurse at Pennhurst for a number of years caring for the mentally challenged. She then worked at Lansdale Tube in Spring City, and then was a foreman and supervisor at Bittl Instruments. After moving to New Hampshire, she worked at Bronze Craft in Nashua as a quality control inspector. Prior to her illness, she worked for Market Basket for several years.

Carol enjoyed going to casinos, and one of her favorites was Treasure Island in Las Vegas. Carol loved traveling. One of her favorite pastimes was her annual trip to South Carolina with her friends, where they would rent a beachfront mansion. She also was very adventurous and even paraglided in her 60s.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in law, Bruce and Gail Heimbach, with whom she resided in Nashua for the past 20 years; also a brother in Pennsylvania, Harold D. Heimbach; also several nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation and service at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064 on Wednesday Nov. 2, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. A prayer service will take place at 7:45 p.m. in the funeral home to conclude visitation. Interment will be private.
