Leonard ‘Lenny’ Kenneth Leach

Leonard “Lenny” Kenneth Leach passed away peacefully, Monday, Oct. 10, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospital with family by his side. He was born in Nashua, July 14, 1936, son of the late Alfred Leach and Cora (Morrisette) Leach. He was husband to Frances Estelle (Franklin) Leach, whom he married Oct. 15, 1955, and would have celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary this month.

Leonard was raised and educated in Nashua, moving to Hudson in the early 1960s. He had been employed at Lockheed Martin, designing and engineering circuit boards for more than 30 years before retiring in 1996. He had a passion for electronics, particularly amateur radio, where he would communicate with and make friends all over the world. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and loved music from the 1970s and 1980s.

Leonard is survived by his wife, Frances Leach; his sons, Mark Leach, Timothy Leach, Daniel Leach, James Leach and Andrew Leach; and his daughter, Barbara Leach. He also leaves behind his three siblings, John Leach, Alan Leach and Sandra Thibault; as well as his 10 grandchildren, Gerald Leach Jr., Jennie Fedoce, Shannan Sullivan, Shane Sullivan, Austin Gaska, Amanda Leach, Olivia Cram, Alex Leach, Tatum Cram and Owen Place; along with his three step-grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Aside from his parents, Leonard was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Leach; and his son, Gerald Leach Sr.

SERVICES: Visitation will be on Friday Oct. 21, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday Oct. 22, 2022, from 10-11 a.m. at Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, N.H. 03064. A graveside service will be on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, at 11:15 a.m. at Edgewood Cemetery, 107 Amherst St. Nashua, N.H. 03064. Family and friends are invited to attend.
