James ‘Jim’ Waters Mulvey
James “Jim” Waters Mulvey, 84, longtime resident of Merrimack, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022.
He was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on May 1, 1938, to the late James and Mary (Waters) Mulvey. Raised in Lawrence, he was a graduate of Lawrence High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Merrimack College.
Jim spent more than 30 years teaching science to students at Fairgrounds Junior High School in Nashua and retired in 1996. He enjoyed doing home improvement projects around his home and golfing, spending time in their winter home in Florida and relished the holiday seasons in New England. Jim loved being with his family, especially watching his three grandchildren in their soccer, basketball and football games.
He will be forever loved and remembered by his wife of 59 years, Mary “Lee” Mulvey; three children, Keith Mulvey and his wife, Jessica, of Salem, New Hampshire, Kara Mulvey and her partner, John, Sixsmith of Melrose, Massachusetts, and Kristin Campbell of Manchester, New Hampshire; three grandchildren, Meghan Mulvey, Riley Mulvey and Cameron Lippie; along with a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert Kerper and Susan Locke.
A celebration of life will be at a later date.
