Paulette 'Paula' Delia (LaCroix) Dumais

Paulette “Paula” Delia (LaCroix) Dumais, 82, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She is the beloved wife of Raymond Dumais, with whom she shared 58 beautiful years of marriage and more than 60 years of time spent together.

Paula was born in St. Charles, Quebec, Canada, on Feb. 9, 1940, and was the daughter of the late Philipe and Antonia (Cote) LaCroix. She received her education in the Nashua School District, was a graduate of St. Louis High School and continued her education at Granite State Hairdressing School.

For many dedicated years, she owned and operated Hair by Paula and worked as a hair stylist until her retirement.

In her free time, Paula enjoyed camping trips, cooking – especially for family dinners and gatherings – and loved to shop. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family, most importantly time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Ray, she is survived by her two children, Audrey Wedick and her husband, Steve, of New Hampshire and Randy Dumais and his wife, Bonnie, of Hudson; her three beloved grandchildren, Brandon Dumais and his wife, Kayla, Ashley Dumais and Celine Dumais. She also is survived by her four siblings, Jean-Guy LaCroix and his wife, Lucille, of Hudson, Roger LaCroix and his wife, Nancy, of Nashua, Robert LaCroix and his wife, Diane, of Nashua, and Janet Belanger and her husband, Kenneth, of Goffstown; as well as several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Paula’s visitation on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, from 5-8 p.m. at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be on FRIDAY, Oct. 14, 2022, at 10 a.m. in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W. Hollis St., Nashua. Interment will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Nashua.
