Lorraine Rachel Lachance
Lorraine Rachel Lachance, 86, died peacefully at her home on Monday, Oct. 3, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She is the beloved wife of Donald H. Lachance, with whom she shared 66 years of marriage.
Lorraine was born in Nashua on April 14, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Dolores (Delorme) Beaudet. She attended school in Nashua and was a graduate of St. Louis High School with the class of 1954.
For many years, she was employed as a medical receptionist for Dr. Zeytin until her retirement. In her free time, she loved spending time with her family and attending the many events of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lorraine always was ready for a party and loved having the family around her. She was an active communicant of Infant Jesus Church in Nashua and had a very spiritual and giving way with others. Her door always was open, and she would welcome all with a hug, smile and a “nice cup of tea and a little something” to go with it. As she always would say, there is “always room for one more at the table.”
In addition to her loving husband, Donald, Lorraine is survived by her children, daughter, Donna M. Lachance and her husband, Arthur Lachance; son, Daniel Lachance; daughter, Susan Hammond; son, David Lachance; and daughter, Julie Morris and her husband, John Morris. In addition to her children, she is survived by her grandchildren, Wendy and her husband, Brian; Arthur his wife, Kara; Andrea; Carl and his wife, Abbie; Keith and his wife, Katie; Jillian; Eric; Megan; Rachel and Abigail. Lorraine was also blessed with 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom she was very proud.
