Edward T. Briand of Knox Road died on Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Edward was born on Oct. 19, 1932, in Nashua, son to the late Victor and Delia (Nault) Briand.

Edward proudly served in the U.S. Army for more than 25 years. He spent his career working for Holmes Transportation for 35 year, as well as the New Hampshire Police Academy. In his later years, he worked for Bow School District as a maintenance person.

Edward was a very family driven man. He loved his family unconditionally. He had a love for his wife, Beverly, that made it all so obvious to everyone around him. Edward was very dedicated to his country and showed it through his memorabilia, and was proud to show it wherever he went, displaying it on his shirts, jackets and his enormous patch collection.

He looked forward to going to all of his yearly retirement Army luncheons. He enjoyed listening to his police and fire scanners. He was a dedicated hard-working man no matter what his job was.

One of biggest passions was listening to classic country music as well as his passion for trains. He was the most loved and gentle man. He will be sadly missed by so many. His legacy will live on in all who knew him.
