Paul Joseph Gallagher Sr.

Paul Joseph Gallagher Sr., 76, died Friday, Sept 16, 2022, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, New Hampshire. He was born in Boston, Aug. 6, 1946, to parents Henry and Catherine (Gibbons) Gallagher. He married Kathleen M. (Donovan) Gallagher on Aug. 16, 1969. They enjoyed 53 years of marriage.

He attended school in the Billerica School District. He went on to work for Digital Equipment Corporation, a large American-based computer company for 30 years as a technical engineer and ended his career at St. Goblain.

He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Billerica, Massachusetts, for 50 years. He treasured the many friendships he made there over the years. He also enjoyed bird watching, music, but most of all, Paul loved spending time with his two grandchildren, Avery and Aaron.

Paul is predeceased by his brothers, Michael Gallagher, Thomas Sullivan Jr. and John Sullivan; brother-in-law, Thomas Donovan; parents, Catherine and Thomas Sullivan; and biological father, Henry Gallagher.

Besides his wife, Kathleen, he is survived by his sons, Paul Gallagher Jr., and his wife Kathy, Marc Gallagher and grandchildren, Aaron and Avery.

SERVICES: A visitation will take place Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, from 4-8 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, N.H. Family and friends are invited to attend. A burial will take place at a later date and at the convenience to the family.
