Gary Wayne Chambers

Gary Wayne Chambers, 66, of Montclair, Virginia, formerly of Nashua, New Hampshire, Hudson, New Hampshire, and Pepperell, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly on July 25, 2022. Gary was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, to the late Chester E. and Thelma (Bent) Chambers on April 4, 1956. He was a 1974 graduate of North Middlesex Regional High School in Townsend, Massachusetts, and attended Hesser College in Manchester, New Hampshire.

He married Patricia McHugh on Aug. 28, 1976, in Hudson, celebrating 45 years of marriage. He was employed as a manager for McDonald’s for 28 years, and at Haffner’s Car Care in Hudson prior to retirement.

Gary was a member of the Hudson Lions Club prior to moving to Virginia. He loved to play golf, go bowling and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Chester (Butch) Chambers; sister, Kathleen Chambers, both of Pepperell; and sister, Ellen Lawrence of Sanford, Maine. He was also preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Donald and Jeannette McHugh.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia (McHugh) Chambers of Montclair, Virginia; his daughter, Jessica Brennan and her husband Matthew Brennan of Montclair; his son, Stephen G. Chambers of Chicago, Illinois; granddaughter, Kayley Brennan; and grandson, Trevor Brennan, both of Montclair; sisters- and brothers-in-law Blanche Tourville and Kendrick Cunningham and Lois and John Lamphier; sister-in-law, Betty Chambers; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mary Ann and Larry Jenkins and Tracey and Ed Dziadek; and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Gary’s final act of selflessness was the gift of organ, eye and tissue donation.
