Tekeste Berhanu

Tekeste Berhanu passed away at his home in Nashua, New Hampshire, on Aug. 25, 2022. Tekeste was a graduate of Rivier University, and a beloved teacher in Nashua. Tekeste was born on Oct. 18, 1973, in Ethiopia and immigrated to the United States to attend Rivier College in 1997. Tekeste valued his United States citizenship very much, and was a loyal citizen and a good friend.

He is survived by his many friends in Boston, especially in the Ethiopian-American community, and by Dr. Ralph Wolf and his family of Merrimack, New Hamphire.

A memorial service will be at Last Rest Cemetery, in Merrimack, on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022, at 3 p.m. Tekeste’s friends and family are grateful to Rochette Funeral Home for their conscientious service.

In leiu of flowers, a donation to the scholarship fund for the underprivileged at Rivier University may be made.
