Claire Lachance Wright

Claire Lachance Wright, 91, of Nashua, New Hampshire, widow of Robert J. Wright, died peacefully at Bridges Memory Care on Sept. 3, 2022.

Claire was a native of Nashua, born on July 17, 1931, to the late Henry and Juliette Lachance. She was educated at St. Louis de Gonzague Elementary School and graduated from Nashua High School.

Claire was a dental receptionist for Dr. Alfred Gagnon and Dr. Kenneth Minasian.

She loved music and playing the piano, reading and watching the Boston sports teams with her husband, Bob. Claire and Bob enjoyed vacationing in Ft. Myers, Florida, for several years. She loved spending time with her family. She was a loving mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her loving husband, Robert, died in 2020; this year they would have been married 71 years. Claire passed away on Bob’s birthday.

Claire is survived by her five children, Michael Wright (Kathryn) of Greenville, South Carolina, Kathryn Belanger (David) of Jacksonville, Florida, Sandra Frost of Nashua, Judith Beem (Milton) of Jaffrey, New Hampshire, and Thomas Wright (Elizabeth) of Merrimack; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; her brother, Donald Lachance (Lorraine); brother-in-law, Ralph Wright (Caroline) of Tilton, New Hampshire; sister­–in-law, Jeanine Wright of Nashua; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by sister, Estelle Berube (Roger); brothers-in-law, Harry Wright and David Wright; and sister-in-law, Sylvianne Wright.

The family appreciates the loving care given by the Bridges Memory Care staff.

She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Relatives and friends are invited to Claire’s funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Road, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH.
