Lucille T. Belanger

Lucille T. Belanger, 93, died peacefully on Monday, Aug. 22, 2022, at Ledgewood Bay Avita Memory Care in Milford. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald S. Belanger, who predeceased her in October 2000 after celebrating 53 years of marriage.

Lucille was born in Nashua on Nov. 15, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Albert and Annette (Petrain) Decelle. Up until she moved to Ledgewood Bay, she lived her entire life in Nashua, New Hampshire, and attended Catholic parochial and public schools. For many years, she was employed at Sprague Electric as well as Nashua Corporation. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, baking, playing cards, shopping and loved to travel for vacations, especially spending time on cruises. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family who she loved deeply.

Lucille is survived by her two daughters, Paula Bertrand and her husband Jay of Nashua and Caroline Pelchat and her husband Kevin of Fort Mill, South Carolina; her six grandchildren, Dennis Belanger and his wife Lori, Jeremy G. Belanger and his wife Sandi, Shane Bertrand, Gwenn Stratton and her husband Vincent, Wendy Zaccagnini and her husband Timothy, and Daniel Pelchat and his wife Ruby.

She also is survived by her five great-grandchildren, Stephen Belanger, Jeremy Belanger and his wife Macques, Nicole Young and her husband Jedidiah, Gianna Stratton, and Olivia Zaccagnini; and her two great-great grandchildren, Zander Belanger and Zakai Belanger; her three step-great-grandchildren, Mary Kaitlyn Maccini, Nic Maccini and David Maccini; as well as her sisters-in-laws, Nancy Decelle and Jane Decelle; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband, Gerald, she is predeceased by her two sons, Dennis Belanger and Robert Belanger; her two brothers, Lucien Decelle and Louis Decelle; and her goddaughter/niece, Diane Healy.

Relatives and friends are invited to Lucille’s graveside service on SATURDAY, Sept. 10, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Patrick Cemetery, 102 Derry Road, Hudson. Her interment will follow.
