Conrad R. Desjardins

Conrad R. Desjardins, 80, died peacefully on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Fairview Nursing Home. He was the beloved husband of the late Vivian (Girard) Desjardins with whom he shared 46 wonderful years of marriage prior to her passing on January 13, 2017.

Conrad was born in Nashua, NH on January 27, 1942 and was the son of the late Joseph C. and Annette (Gregoire) Desjardins. He was born in Nashua and received his education in the Nashua School System graduating from Nashua High School.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy working as Senior Chief Hospital Corps until his retirement.

Following his retirement from the U.S. Navy, Conrad was employed at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center working in the Material Distribution Department until his retirement.

In his free time, he was an avid reader and enjoyed taking trips to Ogunquit, Maine with his family. Conrad’s time spent with his family was always his number one priority and it was time he truly cherished.

He is survived by his son John Desjardins and his wife Renee of Londonderry, NH and his granddaughters, Aubrey and Caroline Desjardins. He is also survived by his sister, Louise Sallinger and her husband Larry of Ithaca, NY; his sister-in-law, Nicole Desjardins of Nashua; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, Vivian, he was predeceased by his brother, Paul Desjardins and his sister Mona Duquette and her husband Richard.

Relatives and friends are invited to Conrad’s visitation on WEDNESDAY, August 24th from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will be held on THURSDAY, August 25th at 11 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis Street, Nashua.
