Robert A. ‘Bobby’ (Boza) Edwards

Robert A. “Bobby” (Boza) Edwards was born in Nashua, New Hampshire. He was a firefighter for the city of Nashua from June 20, 1976 to Feb. 1, 1999.

For most of his career, he was the driver of Engine Company 4 (The Nomads), out of the former Crown Hill Firehouse on Arlington Street.

During fall 2001, he attended numerous funerals in and around New York City tor fallen firefighters who died in the World Trade Center. In February 2002, he volunteered tor a period with the Salvation Army to organize a hanger at John F. Kennedy Airport in Queens with the donations made for 9/11.

He will be missed by past and present brother and sister firefighters from Nashua, Windham, Salem, FDNY and Madrid, Spain. Bobby was a member of Nashua Firefighters Local 789, Nashua Firemen’s Relief Association, Nashua Retired Firemen’s Association and the Lawrence Firefighters Relief’s In.

He leaves behind aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada, and step-brothers locally. There will be no services at his request.
