George Kariotis

George was born on October 27, 1950 in Kalamata, Greece and died on July 25th 2022 while vacationing in Greece. He was doing what he loved, fishing!

George was the son of John and Christine Kariotis, the father of Christie and her husband Eric Filiatrault of Nashua New Hampshire and Loula and her husband Massimo Tiberi of Stoneham Massachusetts.

He was married to Madeline Kariotis for 33 years. He was also a loving Grandfather of Tony 16, George 11 Aria 10 and Enzo 7.

He was the brother of Pota Panagopoulos and her husband John of Norwood, Massachusetts and Politimi Smirni and her husband Petro of Athens Greece. George also leaves behind many cousins, nephews and nieces in America and in Greece! In addition he had countless friends in Florida where he spend his winters!

George came to America in 1967 with his family. He graduated from Jamaica plain high school and is still remembered in the Boston area for being the best goal keeper for the Hellenic soccer team!

Forty five years ago he moved to Nashua New Hampshire where raised his family. He was also the proud owner of Nashua house of pizza which has been in business since 1977. George was a force of nature, a rebel of sorts who lived life to the fullest. He will be missed by many but never forgotten.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend George’s visitation in the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home, 8 Spring St. (Corner of Centre St.) West Roxbury, Tuesday, August 9 from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. Interment will be private.
