Alice Ann Tamulevich

Jul 16, 2022

Alice Ann Tamulevich passed away on July 13, 2022 in Hudson, New Hampshire after a long period of declining health. She was 79. The youngest of three children she was born on September 12, 1942 to the late Harvey and Alice Lavoie in Nashua, New Hampshire. Alice was predeceased by her husband Michael Tamulevich in 2003, with whom she shared 39 years of marriage: together they had two daughters Sherri and Tracy. They were natives of Nashua and lived in Nashua their entire lives, something they were very proud of.

Alice graduated from Nashua High School in 1960 and began her career at Nashua Corporation. She obtained her NH Real Estate license while being a stay-at-home mom, worked at Nashua Industrial, and then became the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President at BAE when she later retired to care for her husband Mike.

Above all things, Alice loved to spend her summers at the beach most especially in Hampton and Rye, New Hampshire and Wells, Maine where she owned a cottage. She enjoyed spending all her free time with her family and friends who she always said were the best. You could often find her traveling to Florida in the winters and to Virginia to visit her sisters. She loved dancing with her girlfriends at ballrooms in Massachusetts and playing Bridge. Alice enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s swimming, gymnastics, soccer, lacrosse, and basketball games. Up until a few years ago she was an avid participant in a local ladies bowling league, for fun. Both bowling and dancing provided her with many memorable experiences. Alice was a devoted Catholic and was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Alice was a strong, proud, and private person, and her family acknowledged and honored that in her last years. A great memory for us all, and a happy occasion for her, was when she treated her family to a trip to Aruba in 2017. “Sand, sun, and the ocean always made for the perfect day” according to Al.

Alice’s loving family includes her two daughters and their families: Sherri and her husband John St. Lawrence, and Tracy and her husband Matthew Boucher. Her sisters, Joan and her husband Earle Lupien (deceased), Geraldine and her husband Cliff Parham, and brother-in-law, Carl and his wife Lori Tamulevich. She was a beloved and generous “Gamma and JaJa” to her 4 grandchildren: Mikey and his wife Courtney Boucher, Anna Boucher, Ellie Boucher, and Sarah St. Lawrence. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to thank the caring and compassionate Hardy staff at the INN at Fairview, Laurel Place, and Home Health and Hospice Care. Over the past years they have all become an extended family to us and have taken such great care of our mother, which we are forever grateful for. We would also like to thank our special friend Maureen, who provided my mother with many afternoons of card games and laughter.

A period of visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM in the Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Road, Nashua, NH. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 AM in the church. Burial will be private for the family following the mass.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Alice Tamulevich’s memory to: Home, Health and Hospice Care, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054 or donations may be made online at hhhc.org
