Gwendolyn Whitney D’Amico
Gwendolyn Whitney D’Amico was born on June 15th 1963, to Byam and Miriam Whitney in Wellesley, MA. She earned her degree in Accounting from University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she met her future husband, Michael D’Amico. Gwen and Michael married on October 22, 1989. She worked for the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority for over 20 years and was a master of spreadsheets generally and pivot tables in particular. Gwen is survived by her husband Michael, three children, Tone, Zachary, and Quinn, and her two sisters Laura and Heather. She was preceded in death by her parents Byam and Miriam. The Sound of Music was her favorite movie, though her favorite quote was “Get off my plane” from Air Force One. She was a lifelong fan of classical music and WCRB could always be heard from the radio in her bathroom. After retiring, she found great joy in taking her dogs to the local dog park, where her empathy and huge smile found her many friends. She passed on July 9th 2022 in Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. She is dearly missed.
A service will be held at Cathedral in the Pines in Rindge, NH on July 15th at 12:00 PM.
