Ralph Alan Phillips

Jun 25, 2022

Ralph Alan Phillips, 70, passed away June 6, 2022, at Premier Rehab and Healthcare in Nashua.

Born in Milford on Oct. 14, 1951, Ralph graduated from Milford High School in 1968, and worked at factories across Southern New Hampshire, including several years at Pioneer Plastics in Greenville.

Ralph leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Marlene M. Phillips. The couple first met in 1973 at a mutual friend’s house in Nashua. Marlene says Ralph was very likable and had plenty of friends, but he also struck her immediately as a kind-hearted person.

They started dating a couple years later when Marlene was 16, and in 1978 they were married with a small ceremony of family and friends in Wilton. The couple lived in Milford, Nashua and Goffstown over the years, but Marlene’s favorite memories are their vacations to cities across the northeast.

Ralph also is survived by their daughter, Marlena M. Phillips; his sister, Patricia Francis of Lyndonville, Vermont; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Edward J. Phillips and Catherine McPolin Phillips; his brother, Edward J. Phillips; and his sister, Barbara Delage.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Nashua on Friday, June 24, 2022, at 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Special Olympics New Hampshire.
