Robert J. DeMinico

Robert J. DeMinico, 86, of Hudson, NH, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2022, at Community Hospice House with his family by his side.

He was born on May 21, 1936, to Joseph DeMinico and Mary (O’Malley) DeMinico in Somerville, MA and grew up in Charlestown, MA. He resided in Hudson, NH since 1966.

Robert graduated from English High School in 1955 and attended Northeastern University before serving in the National Guard and US Army Reserves.

He married Lorraine F. Foley on September 16,1961 and they had three children, Robert, Jr, Gregory, and Mark. Their 60 plus years of marriage together were filled with love and blessed memories.

After 30 plus years he retired from Sales at Dunn & Bradstreet where he received many awards and started a second career in real estate.

Robert enjoyed many activities, especially those outside. He was an avid boater and skier and enjoyed many summers at Lake Winnipesaukee. He was a great family man and always put his love and generosity for others before himself. His great sense of humor will be missed by all.

Robert is survived by his spouse Lorraine (Foley) DeMinico, his sons Robert Jr. and wife Cheryl DeMinico, Gregory and wife Karen DeMinico, Mark DeMinico, and grandchildren Michael DeMinico, Mitchell DeMinico, and Jacob DeMinico, his brother Francis and wife Linda and their children, Taylor and Arianna, and brothers-in-law, Frank and Maria Foley, Joe and Ellie Foley and their Children Ashley and Ryan, and Stephen and Maureen Foley and their children Patrick and Ella.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, June 22nd from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm in the Dumont -Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St., in Hudson, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 23rd at 10:00 am at St. Kathryn’s Church, 4 Dracut Road in Hudson, NH. All may please meet at church. Interment will follow at St Patrick’s Cemetery, 75 Derry Rd in Hudson. In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations be made in Robert’s loving memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or to the charity of one’s choice.
