Theodore Hector Trudel Jr. (Ted)

Theodore Hector Trudel Jr. (Ted), died on April 10 2022 at the advanced age of 92. Ted was born in Nashua, NH on September 5, 1929 to Lena (Edwards) and Theodore Hector Trudel, Sr.. He attended Nashua Senior high where he graduated in 1947. A stellar athlete, Ted earned numerous awards and accolades, including an athletic scholarship to UNH. He graduated in 1955 with a ROTC commission in the Air Force as a Second Lieutenant and retired as a full Colonel 20 years later. A man who would act to help others, early in his military career, Ted and a friend saved a boy from drowning. The Air Force recognized his selfless deed and awarded him, The Soldiers Metal for Bravery. In 1955 he married Lee (Leola) Allard from Amesbury, MA. They shared a happy life together for 68 years.

Ted is survived by his loving wife Lee, his daughters, Laura Trudel, Sharon Trudell, Elizabeth (Trudel) Nelson, his son Steven Trudel, and his sister, Barbara (Trudel) Franceur.
