Gisele L. O’Neil

ALEXANDRIA – Gisele L. O’Neil, 66, died Tuesday, May 10, 2022 after an untimely illness. She was born in Nashua, the youngest of 11 children of Henry and Lucille (Houle) deMontigny. She attended local schools and graduated from Hollis-Brookline High School. She worked a number of jobs before meeting and marrying Robert O’Neil, Jr. in 1999. She was then able to stay at home and care for her family. The family lived in Hampton Falls until 2009 when they moved to Alexandria.

Gisele loved her family and sharing her interests with them. They often played board games or watched movies together. She enjoyed making them laugh, as well as, scaring them with her stories of “The Witch in the Woods”. Her favorite holidays were Halloween and Christmas and all of the decorating, music, and movies that went along with them. She loved doing crafts, knitting and painting and during healthier times, she had quite a green thumb and was known for her landscaping works.

Family members include her husband Robert O’Neil Jr. of Alexandria, two children: James Austin III of Milford and Megan Austin of Brookline; two great grandchildren: Avery R. Austin and James Austin IV; two brothers: Earl deMontigny of Micco, FL; Marc deMontigny of Milford; four sisters: Nancy Rizzuto of Port Charlotte, FL; Dolores “Dolly” Chacos of Port St. Lucie, FL; Terry Jubert of Stoddard; Jeannine Richardson of Rye; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers: Robert deMontigny; Paul deMontigny; Jerry deMontigny and Arthur deMontigny.

Services-A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the Brookline Event Center, 32 Proctor Hill Rd., Brookline, NH at 2:00 PM.
