Eileen (Tellyn) Briggs

Eileen (Tellyn) Briggs, 83, of Taunton MA and former resident of Tyngsboro MA passed away, peacefully, on Sunday, March 27th at her home, surrounded by her loving children.

She was born in Keresley, England on January 8th 1939, daughter of the late Tom and Elvira Tellyn.

She was predeceased by her husbands, Frank J DeMarco and James D Briggs.

She is survived by her daughter Deb Steele of Taunton MA and her sons, Mark DeMarco and his wife Tamara of Hampton NH; Troy DeMarco of Manchester NH; Mike DeMarco and his wife Jennifer of Lowell MA; David Briggs and his wife Judy of Lexington NC and Todd Briggs of Litchfield NH. She was also the proud Nana to 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, and Auntie to many nieces and nephews.

She was a wonderful, loving, mother and friend to her daughter and 5 sons, and taught them the importance of love and family, and persevering in the face of difficulties. Eileen was a friend to all that she met. She loved listening to the Oldies, dancing, and laughing with family and friends whenever she could. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her and loved her.

A small private ceremony will be held at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashua NH on April 30th.
