William N. ‘Buddy’ Lamarre

GREENVILLE, N.H. – William N. “Buddy” Lamarre 91, formerly of Dunstable, MA died Sunday April 17, 2022, peacefully at his residence in Greenville, NH.

Buddy was born in Lowell, MA, September 23, 1930. He was the son of William A., and Helen (Nison) Lamarre. He was a long time resident of Dunstable,, where he raised his family, before settling in Greenville, NH.

He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Jean L. (Sullivan) Lamarre, and is survived by five sons; William A. of Lowell, Richard J. of Pelham, NH, Ronald P. and wife, Kathleen, of Dunstable, MA., Michael D. Lamarre and his wife, Kimberly, of Mason, NH, Russell P. of Coulee, WA, and two daughters, Marie J. Joerger, and her husband Eric of Nashua, NH, and Judith A. Lamarre, of Greenville, NH, with whom he resided. Buddy also leaves behind 22 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Edward, as well as two sisters, Theresa Norton and Alida Furtado.

Buddy served in the United States Marine Corp, in the Korean War. He was a former member of Sacred Heart Church in Greenville, as well as a former member of the Elks, Lions, and U.C.T. organizations. Buddy was a devoted husband, father, brother, Papa, and beloved friend to many.

In 1960 Buddy and his loving wife, Jean, founded William N. Lamarre Concrete Products Inc., located in Greenville, NH. Lamarre Concrete continues to thrive due to the endless dedication of family, devoted employees, as well as our loyal customers. Buddy leaves behind a thriving legacy for his family to carry on.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 15 High Street, Greenville. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery.
