Katherine M. (Brown) ‘Kay’ Cardinal

NASHUA – Katherine M. (Brown) “Kay” Cardinal, 91 of Nashua, NH, died February 15, 2022 at Huntington of Nashua.

Kay was born December 10, 1930 in Worcester, MA to the late Chester and Josephine Brown. She grew up and was educated in Worcester, MA and went on to graduate from nursing school. She was a resident of Nashua, NH for the past 11 years, formerly of Hudson, NH, where she lived for over 30 years.

Kay was a retired Registered Nurse for the State of Massachusetts. She was a very active parishioner of Immaculate Conception Parish in Nashua, NH. She was also a crossing guard in Hudson, NH. She enjoyed walking and loved to play Bingo.

Besides her parents, Kay was predeceased by her children Robert Cardinal, Judy Cardinal, Randy Cardinal, and Warren “Skip” Sherrick.

She is survived by her daughters: Kathy and her husband Charlie Richard of Nashua, NH, and Michelle Fraser of Hudson, NH

8 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandson

Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Friday, Feb. 18th from 4-7 PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Rd, Windham, NH.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Parish, Nashua, NH. On Saturday Feb. 19th at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Hudson, NH.
