Thomas W. Munroe

Thomas W. Munroe, 78, of Hudson NH passed away on February 6, 2022 at home, surrounded by his family. He was born on January 26, 1944 in Boston MA. He was the youngest son of the late William N. Munroe & Myrtle E. (Fenimore) Munroe.
Tom was a graduate of Hollis NH High School class of 1962. He is the beloved husband of Joyce A. (Watts) Munroe with whom he shared 57 years of marriage.
Tom began his career as a machinist for Matrix Corp of Nashua NH, and moved to several other companies in the area, especially enjoying his time traveling internationally as Field Service Engineer for Hollis Engineering. He later became President and co-owner of TND Service Corp in Londonderry NH where he retired in 2014.
Tom enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, fishing & hunting in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. He was a long-time member of the Hudson NH Fish & Game Club. He and Joyce recently wintered the past several years in Dunedin, FL.
In addition to his loving wife Joyce A.(Watts) Munroe, Tom is survived by his three children, daughter Vicki Moore and her husband Timothy Moore, daughter Jo-Ann Sundstrom & husband Timothy Sundstrom, and a son, James Munroe & wife Beth (Heffernan) Munroe, all of Hudson NH, and six grandchildren, Meghan Moore, Lauren Moore, Kelsey Sundstrom, Justin Sundstrom, Sydney Munroe & Logan Munroe. Tom is also survived by his brother David N. Munroe and his wife Jackie (Bishop) Munroe, of Dunedin FL, and his sister, Dorothy “Dolly” (Munroe) Thistle and her Husband Herbert Thistle of Wickenburg AZ and numerous nieces and nephews.
When the weather warms and outdoor gatherings become possible, a celebration of life will take place in Tom’s honor.
