Sharon June (Ciardelli) Davis

Jan 25, 2022

Sharon June (Ciardelli) Davis, 58, of Hillsborough died on January 19, 2022 at Concord Hospital ICU following a 28 day struggle with Covid. Although unresponsive, she was surrounded by family love and support, while listening to favorite Christian Hymns. Sharon was born on September 25, 1963 in Nashua, NH, daughter of Gary and Marilyn (Vigneault) Ciardelli. Sharon attended Clark and Wilkins Schools in Amherst, middle school in Wilton, and graduated from Milford Area Senior High School in 1982, 13th in her class of 294. Sharon was a member of the National Honor Society, and a delegate to Girls State where she was elected to the Governor’s Council. She graduated from UNH with honors earning a BA in psychology, and from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary in Portland, Oregon, magna cum laude with a Masters in Christian Counseling. Proud grandmother Mary Vigenault and Mother-in-law Juliann Davis attended her graduation banquet in Oregon. Sharon was married in 1987 and her son, the light of her life, Adam Michael, was born in Portland, Oregon in 1995. Sharon’s Mom Marilyn (Mev) traveled West for Adam’s birth and stayed with Sharon and her new grandson a full month.

Due to a traumatic birth injury, Sharon suffered Cerebral Palsy and endured many surgeries during her lifetime. She also was born with a congenital dislocated hip and endured 2 1/2 years in a spiker body cast as a toddler. Sharon loved spending time with her maternal grandparents, Gene (Pito) and Mary Vigneault. Grandpa Vigneault built Sharon a hallway rail system where she learned to re-walk after a difficult surgery. She spent many weekends here with her siblings and cousins Chris, Jodie, Branden and Jessica. Sharon was a true example of perseverance, and her drive to overcome life’s obstacles was only equaled by her unwavering faith.

She walked closely with the Lord, and was a beacon of hope. Sharon home schooled her son Adam, and never stopped her own quest for knowledge. She was deeply concerned for other people and was able to help them through their struggles. Sharon will be remembered for her constant smile, heart of gold, her ability to fall often, (literally), laugh, and get back up.

Sharon is survived by her parents, Mev and Gary, her son Adam Davis of Washington, NH, and his fiancé Sara Vaillancourt and her children Allyson Steves and Cooper Davis. She is also survived by a brother Todd Ciardelli and his wife Jody, sister Pamela Ciardelli and her husband, Bohdan Zaryckyj, sister Holleigh Tlapa and her husband Paul, all of Milford, several cousins, and her cat, Tabitha, who has gone to live with her son Adam. Sharon was loved by her nieces and nephews, Alexeigh, (David), Geena, Autumn, Alli, Aspen, Troy, Gage, Nadia and Ryder. Sharon was predeceased by a beloved niece, Jaiden Lyndi Tlapa, her grandparents, Mario (Muvvy) and Alice Ciardelli, and Gene and Mary Vigneault, her aunt and uncle Gene and Eleanor Ciardelli, and a favorite great Aunt, Jo Noon.

The family is grateful beyond measure for an allowed zoom call to Sharon on December 26, prior to her placement on a ventilator. The family wishes to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at Concord Hospital ICU for their compassion, daily updates and valiant efforts to save Sharon’s life. Family and close friends, including sisters of faith, and her cherished home health aide Brandy, were allowed short visits to Sharon the last four days of her life. Although Sharon was heavily sedated and on a vent, unable to respond; we were able to hold her hand, share stories, pray together, play music, and whisper our love. We are confident that Sharon passed seamlessly into the next place with the Lord at her side, and her niece Jaiden waiting to embrace her; where she is whole again, and she finally has answers to all those unanswerable questions she sought on earth. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is assisting the family with arrangements. A Celebration of Sharon’s life on earth will be held at a later date in Milford.
