Glenn H. Sollenberger Jr.

Glenn H. Sollenberger Jr. (83) died January 20, 2022 at his home in Nashua after a protracted battle with lung cancer. He was born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania on December 25, 1938, a son of Glen H. and R. Evelyn Sollenberger.

After serving in the Navy, Glenn relocated to Nashua, NH. where he worked for Sanders Associates and its successor companies for 44 years before retiring as a Program Engineering Manager.

Glenn was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing the rivers and lakes of New England. He was also an accomplished woodworker, having made furniture and many arts and crafts for his family and friends.

Glenn was predeceased by his wife of over 47 years, Miriam Sollenberger who died in 2012 and his son, Troy Sollenberger who died in 2017.

Family members include his son Keith Sollenberger of Nashua, NH., four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Arlene Cowden, of Bainbridge, GA., LaVonnie Angle of Bainbridge, GA, Sherry Shearer and her husband, George, of Chambersburg, PA., and Audrey Young and her husband, Kenneth, of Milton DE.; sister-in-law, Jeannie, of Chambersburg, PA.

Services: There will be no visiting hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Cremation Society of New Hampshire. The family requests those who wish to make a donation in his name do so to their local Humane Society.
