William M. Christensen Jr.

William M. Christensen Jr., 84, of Bedford and formerly of Nashua, passed away Sunday evening, January 2, 2022 at the Bedford Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, after a period of declining health.

Born in Nashua on September 12, 1937, he was a son of the late William M. and Elizabeth (Monahan) Christensen. Educated in local schools, Bill was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1955.

Bill was employed as a buyer and furniture salesman with the former C.H. Avery Company of Nashua for many years and later worked for the Nashua School District as a cafeteria monitor.

A communicant of St. Patrick Church for many years, Bill had also coached CYO Basketball.

In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his twin brother, Warren M. Christensen and his sister and brother-in-law, Marlene and John Dennen.

Members of his family include two nieces, Elizabeth Dennen and Ann Kelly and her husband Jim; a nephew, John Dennen, Jr.; and a grandniece, Kara Gallagher and her husband Kode.

A period of visitation will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Friday, January 7th beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by his funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bedford, NH.
