Marjorie Elaine Hilton

Marjorie Elaine Hilton, 94, of Naperville, Illinois passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, November 28, 2021.

Marjorie was born September 2, 1927, in Worcester, Massachusetts to her parents, Merton Stirling Leslie and Nellie Evelyn MacIntosh Leslie.

Marjorie grew up in Worcester, Massachusetts and married Eugene in 1949. They lived in Merrick, New York until 1969, when they moved to Western Springs, Illinois. They later returned to New England, moving to Nashua, New Hampshire in 1980. She spent the last years of her life in Arvada, Colorado and Naperville, Illinois.

She worked for many years as a real estate agent, both in Western Springs and Nashua, including a year as a million-dollar broker. She also served for several years on her condominium’s board in Nashua. She was a talented cook, avid reader, and enthusiastic traveler. She was deeply proud of her Scottish heritage and had a keen sense of humor.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eugene Hilton, and her siblings Lillian Venoit, Maurice Leslie, and Marion Paige.

She is survived by her children Joan, Connie (Alan), Gene (Donna), and Bill (Carol); by her grandchildren Lee and Anne Dietterich, Jordan Hilton, Cristen and Kimberlie Failoni, Lauren Hilton Golden (Conor), and Caroline Hilton; and by her great granddaughter Cora Golden.
