Genevieve Caroline (Dzieman) Patnoe

Genevieve Caroline (Dzieman) Patnoe, 96, died suddenly in her home on November 23, 2021.

She was born in Chicago, IL, on June 25, 1925 and was the daughter of Boliver T. and Josephine Dzieman. Genevieve was raised and educated in Chicago, IL.

She had various job over the years: Anton Cleaners, Lowell, MA; Base Exchange, Hanscom Air Force Base, Bedford, MA; Wang Labs, Tewksbury, MA, Stewarts Department Stores, Tewksbury, MA. In her spare time, she loved to sing. She joined the “Les Cummings Trio” as their singer, playing/singing at the NCO & Officers Clubs, Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA.

Along came the love of her life, Royal A. Patnoe. They eloped March 3rd, 1946 then married in the church March 19, 1946.

Family was everything! Nothing compared to being a “grandmother, great grandmother & great-great grandmother. Genevieve also enjoyed crocheting, needle work, crossword & word search.

Genevieve was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Royal A. Patnoe, brothers Hilliard & Reginald Dzieman, son-in-law Harold W. Tonn, grandson Douglas A. Bugley, granddaughter Kimberly A. Wright & Tiki (her dog).

She is survived by her sister, Bridget Cejna of Chicago, IL, daughter Sandra L. Tonn of Nashua, NH; son, Denis M. Patnoe & his wife, Sandra of Stoddard, NH. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.

SERVICES: A visitation will be held from 10am-12pm on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. Following visitation, there will be a memorial service at Davis Funeral home. Following the memorial service, interment will take place at St. Louis Cemetery, 752 W. Hollis St., Nashua, NH 03062. Family and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ruck-UP Veterans Outreach, 42 Upper Knight St., Keene, NH 03431www.ruck-up.org.T: 603.903.1255, F: 603.903.1256.
