CONCORD – JeanAnn C. Turke, 87, passed away on November 24th, 2021 after a period of declining health. She was born June 11th, 1934, in North Reading, MA, daughter of the late Philip and Bertha (Lucier) Daudelin. JeanAnn was raised in Allston, MA and after years of being a supportive Air Force wife, settled in Merrimack, NH.

JeanAnn was a proud mom, but an even prouder grandmother and great grandmother. Family was everything to her. She was proud that she came from a large family of 9 children. JeanAnn loved to travel and experience new adventures. She was an exceptional cook. She was famous for her American Chop Suey, potato salad, lamb roasts, New England boiled dinners and Christmas cookies. She could make magic happen with a cast iron frying pan. She loved gardening and playing in the dirt. JeanAnn aspired to win the Powerball and had so many plans on how to spend the money. She would give anyone the shirt off her back, and with a twinkle in her eyes, had plans to make sure all her family was taken care of. During her retirement years, JeanAnn took a part time job at TJ Maxx, and loved to shop there. Prior to living in Merrimack, JeanAnn lived in Hyannis, MA and Deltona, FL. Her favorite place was New England and being able to see the change of seasons and all the beautiful flowers. She was kind, friendly and outgoing, and never met a stranger. JeanAnn had a strong faith in God and was a longtime member of St. John Neumann, before she moved to senior living communities in Bedford and Concord, NH. Predeceased by her parents, and 5 of her siblings and their spouses: Frank Daudelin and his wife Mary, Alda Conti and her husband Charlie, Dianna Norton, Doris Charest and her husband Paul, and Edward Daudelin. She was also predeceased by her dear friend and ‘adopted sister’ Mary Decoste and her husband Ed.

Survived by her sons and their wives: Tony and Clara Turke, Phillip and Gayle Turke, Larry Turke, and her daughter and son in law, Jeanne and Danny Chambers. Her beloved grandchildren Guillermo and Ilyanna Turke, Cathy and Par Axelsson, John and Jill Turke, Michael and Bel Turke, Jacob Chambers, Jenna Chambers and Olivia Turke. Also survived by 9 great grandchildren: William, Christopher, James, Beau, Ethan, Evan and Thiago Turke, Sophia Axelsson and Mateo Axelsson. JeanAnn also leaves behind her sister Helen Cronis and her husband Charlie, brother Robert Daudelin and brother Richard Daudelin and his wife Linda, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Mass of Catholic Burial will be celebrated at St. John Neumann Church, 708 Milford Road, Merrimack NH on Tuesday, November 30th at 10 AM. Burial will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, 990 Lagrange Street, W. Roxbury, MA on Wednesday, December 1st at 11 AM.
