Clyde Francis Bubar

Clyde Francis Bubar, 80, of Hudson NH passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Saturday November 20, 2021.

Clyde was born November 4, 1941 in South Portland, Maine to the late Rachel (Giardino) Bubar and Omar Bubar. He was also predeceased by his great grandson, Reid Brennan.

He graduated from South Portland High School in 1960. He served in the Marine Corps from 1960 – 1964. After being honorably discharged, Clyde attended Wentworth Institute, graduating in 1966. Clyde worked many years as a mechanical engineer. He moved to Hudson NH in 1972, where he raised his family. He was an avid member of the Hudson Fish and Game Club for over 40 years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, skeet and target shooting, and watching football and NASCAR on Sundays. Clyde leaves behind his wife Luzviminda Bubar, whom he enjoyed 30 years of marriage, his children, Todd Bubar and his wife Marife of Hollis, his daughter Alison Bubar of Nashua and son Scott Bubar of Nashua and his granddaughters Alexandra, Adalie, Ayle and Kayla. He is survived by his siblings Arthur Bubar, Marietta Parise and her husband William, Wayne Bubar and his wife Eloise (Poppy) and Francis Bubar and his wife Debbie, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, November 28th from 3pm-6pm in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St., in Hudson. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Monday, November 29th at 10am in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, in Boscawen, NH. All may meet at the cemetery.
