Mark W. Bernier

HUDSON, NH – Mark W. Bernier, age 64, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family, on November 18, 2021, following a brief illness. He was born in Nashua, NH on August 17, 1957, son of the late Leo and Glenda (Jewett) Bernier.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the City of Nashua as a foreman for the wastewater treatment plant, where he worked for 25 years. Mark was a Jack of All Trades, and had a side business renovating houses. He was an avid sports fan of the Boston sports teams, especially the Patriots, and he enjoyed NASCAR. He also enjoyed hiking, camping, the blues and Pink Floyd, and his beloved classic Chevy Van. He was the “king of dad jokes”, and very much enjoyed building bonfires, spending time with his family, and doing crafts with his grandchildren. He is survived by his son, Brian Bernier; daughters, Angela Caron and Kelly Bernier, all of Hudson, NH; known as “Markdad” to Sara Brophy and her husband Denis, and Kassie Stancik, all of Nashua; many grandchildren including Alexis and Savannah with whom he resided, Ariana, Shaelyn, Hanna, Haley, Annabelle and Jacob; a brother, Leo Bernier of Hudson; sister-in-law, Darlene Bernier of MA; also his many lifelong friends also known as “the buds”. He was brother of the late Kevin Bernier, and stepfather of the late Eric Brophy. SERVICES: Friends are invited to Mark’s visitation on SATURDAY, November 27th from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1 Lock Street, Nashua, NH 03064. A prayer service will take place in the funeral home at 2:00 PM. Interment will be private.
