Guy Michael Watkins

Guy Michael Watkins of Homosassa, Florida, passed away peacefully on Aug. 26, 2021, at the age of 58.

He was born on June 13, 1963, in Nashua, N.H. Guy was the oldest of three children born to the late Charles and Madelyn Watkins. He met and later married his longtime partner of 32 years, Debbie Allen Watkins, in Merrimack, N,H. They owned homes in Merrimack, Nashua and Manchester before finally buying a wonderful home in 2009 in Homosassa, FL.

Guy attended high school in Nashua, N.H. before graduating from Alvirne High School with the class of 1981. He drove a truck for Margin Trucking out of Budweiser in Merrimack, N.H., for years before moving to Manchester and driving for Daddy’s Junky Music.

Guy was an easygoing, caring, loving individual with an infectious smile. He made friends easily and had plenty of them.

He enjoyed motorcycles, the Patriot’s, people and pizza, but his true passion was music. Guy played drums and sang in numerous bands throughout Nashua and Manchester in the late 1980s and 1990s. Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and Van Halen were some of his favorite bands. John Henry Bonham of Led Zeppelin was his idol.

Guy was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Madelyn Watkins. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Allen Watkins of Homosassa, Florida, his brother, Scott, of Merrimack, N.H., his brother, Steven, of Pittsfield, N.H., and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
