Amy E. Long, 29, of Manchester, NH, died Friday, August 27, 2021 in Manchester. She was born September 4, 1991 in Nashua, NH, daughter of Patti (Orleans) Osterman and her husband Mark Osterman and James Long and his wife Julie Long.
Amy loved animals, especially her dog, Bailey, and her two cats, Toby and Tucker, as well as Larry her hamster. She was an outgoing girl that had a contagious smile and laugh. She loved watching WWE, going to the beach, riding roller coasters, listening to music, anything related to dinosaurs or Batman, and taking road trips with her mom.
Amy was devoted to her job at Dairy Queen where she was employed for over 15 years. That dedication continued with her love and devotion to family and friends. She was always available to lend a helping hand or make time when someone needed a shoulder to cry on. Amy will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Besides her parents, her loving family includes: two brothers, Adam Long and Aaron Long and his significant other, Kyle Roby; two sisters, Courtney Osterman and Lacey Long; a paternal grandmother, Mary Ann (Greenwood) Long; aunts and uncles, Debrah Orleans and her fiancè, Johnny Whiteley; James Orleans and his significant other, Tammy Madden; Lori Orleans and her significant other, Greg Buckely; Jeff Long and his wife Tracie; Jason Long and his wife Jessica; many cousins, especially her little JJ; many great aunts and great uncles, and many friends. She was predeceased by her two siblings, Jared Osterman and Chelsea Osterman, maternal grandparents, Richard M. and Mary (Rocha) Orleans as well as by her paternal grandfather James L. Long and uncles, Richard W. Orleans and Ronald Gagne.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, September 8th from 12 noon – 3pm in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St., in Hudson. For this service, face masks and / or facial coverings are required for all guests attending services in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations be made in Amy’s loving memory to Manchester Animal Shelter, 490 Dunbarton Road, Manchester, NH 03102.
