Gloria M. Rockwell

Gloria M. Rockwell, 91, of Milford, NH, died on Friday, August 20, 2021. She was born on March 15, 1930, in Somerville, MA . She was the daughter of Frank and Eleanor Battaglia. Gloria married Donald Rockwell in 1952 and celebrated 57 years of marriage. Donald passed away in November of 2009. Together they raised a family of 4 children, Michael, David, James, and Yolanda.

Gloria loved to cook and bake for the holidays and entertain her family and her grandchildren. Gloria enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She and her husband liked to go to yard sales. But most of all she loved her family. She will be greatly missed.

Gloria is survived by her 3 sons, Michael Rockwell and his wife, Kathy, of Maryland, David Rockwell and his wife, Susan, of Massachusetts, and James Rockwell of NH; one daughter, Yolanda Edwards, and Stephen of Virginia; close family friends, Barbara Rockwell and Sandi Kemp; one brother, Joey Battaglia of Texas; and 2 sisters, Yolanda Battaglia and Gina Battaglia of Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Andrew, Lauren, Jennifer, Jill, Julie and Brian Rockwell, Michael and Adam Swift, Kaitlyn Spicknall, Vikki Jenkins, Kathleen Cecchini, Elizabeth Torres and several great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Rockwell and 2 grandchildren, Heather Lourenco and Bobby Swift.

Family and friends are warmly welcome to calling hours on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, from 5pm to 8pm. A Celebration of Gloria’s Life will be held on Wednesday, August 25, at 11am in the Michaud Funeral Home Chapel, 32 Maple Street, Wilton, NH.

Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wilton, NH.
